This week: Sandra Finley is a long-time activist, writer, and researcher. She is the former leader of the Green Party of Saskatchewan, who has now tossed her hat into the federal arena as the federal Green Party candidate for her Saskatoon-Humbolt riding. He is a co-chair of both the Vancouver chapter of the StopWar.ca coalition, and with the Canadian Peace Alliance. Derrick is also the co-author, with Malalai Joya, of the Afghani MP's political memoir, 'A Woman Among Warlords: The Extraordinary Story of an Afghan Who Dared to Raise Her Voice.' He's currently accompanying Malalai Joya on the western swing of her American speaking tour. Derrick O'Keefe and finding Canada's voice for peace in the second half. She's survived several attempts on her life, and continues to condemn the farce of democracy in her homeland. She is currently touring Canada with the co-author of her auto-biography, Derrick O'Keefe. Malalai Joya appeared in Victoria, B.C. November 15th, 2009.
