This Week: The British Columbia Civil Liberties Association is heading on the road next month, going north to visit communities served by the RCMP to host workshops on police accountability. It's an effort BCCLA president, Robert Holmes says is meant as both a means to educate and to learn what concerns residents of the north and famed "heartland" of the province have about the way policing is conducted in their neighbourhoods. David Eby is Executive Director of the B.C. Civil Liberties Association, and is an adjunct professor of law at the University of British Columbia. He is also the president of the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network, and a research associate with the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives. David Eby in the first half. And; Nathalie Des Rosiers is General Counsel of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and Executive Director of its Education Trust. She is the previous Acting Vice President - Governance of the University of Ottawa, and served as Dean of the Civil Law Section of the U. of Ottawa's Faculty of Law. Nathalie also served as president of the Law Commission of Canada from 2000-2004. Nathalie Des Rosiers and Canadian law after the G20.
